Dr. Mary-Justine Todd holds a Phd in international law, an MPH in international public health, and an MA in international studies. She is a leading scholar-practitioner in human rights and law with extensive experience shaping protection policy and practice across the Middle East, Africa, and the United States.
She is the Founder and CEO of Shamsaha—the Middle East’s first violence crisis-response program and a UN implementing partner—where she institutionalized protection and policy in accordance with CEDAW, ICCPR, the Palermo Protocol, and IASC GBV Guidelines.
